Real Madrid 2-0 Borussia Dortmund: Dortmund qualify because of First Half Not Conceded

Borussia Dortmund became the first team to ensure self-will compete in the final of the Champions League 2012-13 season by getting rid of Real Madrid. Mats Hummels says Dortmund got away because capable of not conceding in the first round of Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid did manage to avenge the defeat in the Champions League semi-final first leg at the Signal Iduna Park. However, a 2-0 victory in the second leg on Wednesday (1/5) is not sufficient to bring the Los Blancos breezed into the finals. Because, in the first leg of Jose Mourinho's squad 1-4 defeat to Borussia Dortmund over the right to advance to the finals since winning the final 4-3 on aggregate.

"We knew if they scored in the first half, their fans would be euphoric and cheer louder. We can master the game, but a goal can change the whole game like the game against Malaga," Hummels told the BBC.

"It's unbelievable. Every person on the team dreamed of this moment since childhood. Several of our regular kids. Now we look forward to Wembley," he continued.
